Robinsons Place Tagum Opens in December 2015

TAGUM CITY – Robinsons Place Tagum officially opened its doors in December 2015, becoming the largest Robinsons mall in Mindanao and a key lifestyle destination for Tagumeños and neighboring communities . The four‑level mall spans a gross floor area of 65,800 m², with approximately 34,439 m² (60%) of leasable space hosting over 300 local, national, and international tenants.

Designed by Jonathan O. Gan & Associates, the development embraces “green city malling” — featuring organic stone tiles, floor-to-ceiling clerestory windows, ample interior and exterior landscaping, and energy-efficient climate control systems. 

Anchor tenants include Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Appliances, Handyman, Robinsons Movieworld (3D-capable cinema), and South Star Drug. 

The mall also introduced distinctive local touches at its opening, such as an al fresco dining strip, a wire sculpture of a Manobo man holding a durian at the main entrance, and a dedicated Pasalubong Center supporting Davao del Norte delicacies and community micro-enterprises .

Located along National Highway, Barangay Magugpo, Robinsons Place Tagum features ample parking, convenient public transport access, family-friendly amenities, and entertainment options — serving as a commercial gateway for Tagum and surrounding areas.
