A LIBRARY, THEATER, & MUSEUM all in one building?
It's that exciting as Tagum City opens its newest gem, the City Historical and Cultural Center, to the public come April 5.
Aside from being considered as the “Mother of all Infrastructures in Tagum City”, the Center houses state-of-the-art modern facilities such as the (1) City Library and Learning Commons, the (2) 1,000-seater Tagumpay Theater which is the first of its kind in the entire Davao Region, the (3) Kagikan Museum which is a Tagumenyo heritage museum that showcases the colorful culture and tradition of the city’s tri-people, and the (4) Sentro Rizal.
The Center was inaugurated in time for the celebration of the 23rd Araw ng Tagum last March 7, 2021 but the Center Management will utilize the remaining time until April to put into place the necessary operational guidelines in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
